Joying Newest Firmware Upgrade for Intel Sofia Android 5.1.1 and Android 6.0.1 Car Stereo

Note : Following upgrade file only workable on our Joying newest android 5.1.1 and android 6.0.1 1GB /2GB head unit which is running Intel SOFIA 3RG CPU .

(if you do not make sure your system, please email us to confirm before upgrading. Otherwise your unit will be damaged if upgrade by using the wrong updating file)

Following is the newest version for updating the (Oct,25th,2017) files .

Note: this update is only workable for HD 1024*600 Android car radio with Intel SOFIA 3RG CPU. ( not for resolution 800*480)

          After updating , your factory information will not be deleted .

　

Kindly Warning:
If your car stereo Android MCU version is 5.25(as below picture)or the MCU version is more earlier , you need to use 2017.5.25 mcu to update it, please click Here to download . 

If your car stereo Android MCU version is 9.20 (as below picture )or the MCU version is more later, you need to use 2017.10.25 mcu to update it, please click Here to download . 

　

The newest update fixes the below things：

1. Optimize radio settings

2. Bluetooth cutting

　

3. iOS 11.1 mirror link 

　

4. USB read issue

5. Optimize Android system

　

6. Add DVR and JOYING Bluetooth steering wheel control APK in OEM

　

If you update the wrong upgraded file , will have following problems :

1)  it will have following error shown on the screen :

　

2) the radio app may have problems  if update the wrong file.

 Here is the steps:

1). Pls download it from your windows computer and unzip it
2). Copy the unzipped files into an empty USB FAT32 or empty C10 SD card
3). Insert the USB into your car radio USB connector or the SD card into unit GPS map slot, then the unit will update automatically
4). When it update, pls do not operate it and just wait it until the screen remind you to move SD card or USB
5). After the unit upgrade and reboot up succeed, pls click the reset button in the panel
