How to connect the Steering Wheel Control to Aftermarket Android Car Radio

Many customers asked us " If I buy your android car radio, the steering wheel control will work and how to connect it".

Today, I would like to tell you how to connect the steering wheel control to Joying android car autoradio.

It is different to connect the Steering wheel control to JOYING Version 4.4.4 and Version 5.1.1 Car Radio Head unit.

For the Android 5.1.1 Car Autoradio pls followed the below:

1). If your car support Canbus, you only need to connect the Canbus Box and then the Canbus Box will decode your original car steering wheel buttons. And you can use the steering wheel control directly, so you needn't to learn this.

2). If you car doesn't support Canbus and don't connect the special harness, then you need to purchase Joying ISO Harness. And then find your original car steering wheel control wire connect to the Joying ISO harness ISO steering wheel control Key1 or Ke2, or Key1 and Key2. Must to connect the GND (Ground) wire.

For the Android 4.4.4 Car Autoradio pls followed below:

1). If your car have or support the Canbus Like the Volkswagen, Opel and Ford Cars, you have to connect the Canbus Box. For the Volkswagen cars, the steering wheel control can use, you needn't to set any in the steering wheel control buttons settings. Joying VW car radio steering wheel control buttons are fixed, you just use the left four buttons to control the Joying VW car radio, other four buttons on your steering wheel is control your original car center dash, And the VW cars steering wheel control can not be changed.

2). If you purchase the Universal car radio, Nissan, Toyota and other android car radio, also include the VW cars cannot support the Canbus, so you need to learning and set the steering wheel buttons. And you have to find your original car steering wheel control wire then connect our Joying car radio steering wheel control wire Key1 or Key2, or Key1 and Key2, must connect the GND (Ground) Wire.

If your car has two SWC wires, please connect it to our unit key1 and key2 wire, The GND wire must be connected like below picture shows.
