How to check and deal with the Car Autoradio doesn't Start Up

Following is one of our customers whose head unit doesn't start up:
"Two weeks ago I have received the head unit and installed it a week later. Unfortunately, after one week of usage, my head unit will not start any more.
There are no lights coming p and no sound nor other response. See attached video.
I have tried: soft reset, hard reset, reinstalling the unit, reconnecting all cables a couple of times, removing the Micro-SD Cards, pressing radio button after couple of minutes, no radio or sound.
So does not seem a LCD problem, not any response anymore. "

Before offer you the help, we need to make sure some info like below:
1). Does your car have enough battery to supply for the head unit to turn on?
I suggested that you can go to the Car store to check your car battery and then test the head unit

2). If the battery is enough, pls test the head unit like the below video show:

Pls connect the 12V Red ACC wire, 12V Yellow wire and Black Ground wire to test the head unit whether it will turn on or not. Also hope you can send us the video to show the tested result.
Or you can test the head unit in other cars.

3). Also you can update the head unit and long press the Power button:
The update files as below:

Pls download the update files in your windows computer and decompression it and then copy the update files into an empty SD Card without to create any other folders and without any other files.
Then insert the SD card into the map slot. And then update the head unit like the below video show:

Pls attention: First you can supply the power to the head unit, and then the button will light.
And then you need long press the power button, when the button light change color, pls loose it a while and press the power button again.
To check whether there can get a Boot and update interface.

Finally Reply:
Dear Candy,
I was also on holiday last couple of weeks.
This week I had the idea to check the unit one more time. I checked the red fuse on the back of the device and it was broken. Also the two fuse in my car were broken. I have replaced all broken fuses, reconnected the device and it's now working again !
I've put a lot more time isolation tape on the wiring and hope that this was just incidental. You may put checking the fuse in your instructions for broken head units

Also Here is another situation about the Car Radio doesn't start up:
Hi,
My car is vw Polo V 6R  year 2012.I received today the unit from you. I tested it with very poor result. The unit does not start up at all.
Tested it with booth harness and with canbox installed and without the canbox. I check the thd fuse. It is OK.
I can see that the power comes to unit, because when I switch power on, inside the power off, the button lights are flashing about one second or so.
I have done EXACTLY THE SAME CONNECTION as shown in your testing video, except the loudspeakers, but the loudspeakers are not any problem at the moment. The problem is that the unit is totally death. Nothing happens on the screen.
I have tested all the connections many times. All connections are absolutely OK.
Answered by Joying customer service:
For you have checked all the harness and fuse is ok.
Would you pls take a video about how you connect the wires and take some picture of your original car plug?
Also you can check the buttons in the panel, are there some buttons especially the power button be stuck?
And you can check whether your car is in low battery and don't have enough batter to supply power 12V to the head unit?
We will spare no effort to help you, if we make sure all these, and your problem still exist, we will accept return the head unit and all refund you.
Finally reply:
Hi Candy,
The " not starting problem" is over. I install the device for the first time into the car. Earlier I tested it only on a table. not in the car.
I used a car battery character to give power, I did not realize that the device needed so much amperes to boot up, and the capacity of the character 14V/7.5A was not enough.
Now everything seems to be ok.
Conclusion:
If your Car Radio cannot start up, pls don't worry and feel free to contact us Joyingde@gmail.com and then we will offer you the best help
Also you can check and test you radio by yourself from these below sides:
1). Pls checked have you connect all the wires right (The Red 12V Wire, Yellow 12V Wire and Black GND Wire)?
2). Pls checked the fuses about our dead unit and your car are well or not?
3). Pls checked your car battery is enough to supply the 12V power?
Attention: Pls test the radio in a car not in a table or bench. And the tested result is more accurate.
Hope it can help you, if you have any confusions and other issues pls feel free to contact us joyingde@gmail.com
