New Modified Joying Android 6.0.1 firmware upgrade add Subwoofer control

Note : Following upgrade file only workable on our Joying newest android 5.1.1 1GB /2GB head unit which is running Intel SOFIA 3RG CPU .

(if you do not make sure your system, please email us joyingde@gmail.com to confirm before upgrading. Otherwise your unit will be damaged if upgrade by using the wrong updating file)

If your head unit is following unit model, then you can update the system :

Following will be the newest file for updating from android 5.1 to android 6.0

Please Note:  

1. This update file is a beta release.  If you experience any problems after updating, please provide detailed feedback to joyingde@gmail.com.  We will do our best to fix the issue and improve the next release.

2. Only Joying systems running Android 5.1 with the Intel CPU can be upgraded to Android 6.0

3. Once the system has upgraded to Android 6.0, it cannot be downgraded back to Android 5.1

4. The update process from Android 5.1 to Android 6.0 will be similar to the previous process of updating Android 5.1 on the Sofia Intel units.  The update file will need to be unzipped in Windows.  After unzipping the upgrade file, there should be 11 files as seen in the following picture:

If as following Intel CPU then you can update :

　

Through the firmware upgrade, it can solve following bugs :

1) You can not connect our ELM327 OBD2 to head unit.

after upgrading the system, here will be a video on how to connect the OBD2 properly, please watch as reference: 

2) when listen to music or radio by DAB+ app, the music will be cut after change to another UI or the music sounds off and on.

3) after setting the button key , it will be back to original after a while . or the touch-screen of button key not much more sensitive .

2) you need to download it from the windows system computer, then unzip it. Totally 16 or 13 or 17 files after unzipping.

   Then copy them into the SD card or usb driver without any folder. Then insert the Sd card into GPS maps card slot or usb cable.

3) please be patient on waiting for about 25 minutes until it finish updating . during this updated processes, please do not power off the head unit.

5) If your newest system unit is flat unit, you also need to learn the "touch screen key study" after updating system. please see following pictures:

(If your unit with key button, no need to learn this )

6) After updating the system (Mar,14th,2017) , you need to set the Home launcher selection again .

   For the home launcher selection , the password is 8086 .
